It cuts down the number of calories you are eating. That’s why I like to take a regular drink at lunchtime and have a sip of water at lunchtime too. Just like you feel like youre not getting enough calories when you are eating a sugary meal. But if you drink an energy drink, youre already not consuming enough calories, and you can feel like youre not getting enough calories when youre drinking it. It makes it hard to drink a normal amount of water for a while, and it makes you feel like youre drinking too much in general. The problem is that energy drinks are usually high in sugar. I’m gonna have to stay in this relationship for the rest of my life at least. So how do you feel when you have to have a drink with you, but it still feels like youre consuming more calories than youre consuming in the first place? It’s a vicious circle.Īs I said, I’m not going to stop drinking after I have a drink with me. The problem is that when your body is in the “carb state” it doesn’t feel like you’re consuming enough calories to maintain your weight loss/regaining. As such, I try to drink my energy drinks in moderation.Ī little bit of truth to that. The problem is that I usually feel like I have to have it with me in order to function. To me, it’s like a constant intake of caffeine and sugar that I can’t seem to kick the habit of. ![]() ![]() For a few months now, they’ve been a big part of my life. To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to those energy drinks at all.
